Dr Amy Saucke-Lacelle’s love for animals and veterinary medicine began at a very young age. She was exposed to the veterinary field as a child, when her mother started her veterinary practice in their home. After just a few years, Dr Saucke-Lacelle knew that she wanted to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a veterinarian. She obtained her Veterinary Medicine Degree at the Faculté de Médecine Vétérinaire in Sainte-Hyacinthe, then moved to California to complete a Small Animal Internship. She then worked in California for several years before moving to Saint-Lambert. Dr Saucke-Lacelle has a passion for travel and volunteer work. She went to New Orleans to assist in animal rescue immediately after Hurricane Katrina. She has also participated in several spay/neuter projects in Northern Quebec, Peru and Carriacou.
Dr Saucke-Lacelle has a special interest in pain management and surgery, and she always provides the highest quality medicine to her patients. She is thrilled to be part of the Hopital Vétérinaire Saint-Lambert team and she looks forward to meeting you and your pets!
